About Toronto BBQ Catering
Toronto BBQ Catering is a free matching service for people planning food across Toronto and the GTA. You tell us about the event. We introduce you to an independent local caterer who fits the menu, the headcount, the budget and the date. We do that on a shared email thread.
We are not a caterer. We do not have a kitchen, smokers or a serving team, and we do not cook at your venue. The caterer quotes the job, cooks the food and serves it. You pay the caterer if you decide to book. The introduction is free for clients, and it is free for partner caterers for now.
What we match
Barbecue is the flagship: drop-off spreads, staffed meals and live grill stations, when a caterer and the venue can do that. We also match halal catering, vegan and vegetarian catering, South Asian and Indian catering, wedding catering, and corporate or office lunches. If you need a cuisine that is not listed, write it on the form.
How it works
There is no package with our name on it. A price guide on the menu page shows ranges hosts often see in the GTA, so you can budget. The only price that matters is the one the caterer sends after we introduce you.
Step 1. You send the request
Date, city, guest count, cuisine, dietary needs, budget and service style. Phone is optional. The form is free.
Step 2. We make an introduction
We email you and a matched independent caterer on one thread. We share the details you sent so they can quote.
Step 3. The caterer takes it from there
They confirm the menu, the price and whether they can cook and serve on your date. If you book, you pay them, not us.

We read your date, city, guest count, cuisine, dietary needs, budget and service style. We introduce you and a matched caterer on a shared email thread so you can talk through the menu. The caterer sends the quote. If the first match is not the right fit, tell us and we will try another introduction.
Do you only match BBQ?
BBQ is the flagship, and it is still what many people come to us for. We also match halal catering, vegan and vegetarian catering, South Asian and Indian catering, wedding catering, corporate lunches and other formats. If you need something else, say so on the form.
