Planning guide, not our menu
Menu ideas & typical prices
We do not sell catering packages and we do not set the price. The figures below are a planning guide to ranges commonly quoted by caterers across Toronto and the GTA. Your matched caterer sends the actual quote for your menu, headcount, date and service style. Tax, travel, rentals and staffing can move the number.
What hosts often pay
Labelled as a guide. Final quotes come from the caterer we introduce you to.
Drop-off buffet
About $18–$35 per person
The caterer drops off hot or ready-to-serve food. You or your venue handle serving. Common for office lunches, smaller parties and halls that do not want a crew on site.
Often used for: Office lunches, casual parties, school events
Full-service catering
About $35–$90 per person
Staffed buffet or plated service. The caterer sets up, serves and clears their station. Plated dinners and weddings sit toward the higher end of this range.
Often used for: Weddings, staffed office events, celebrations
Live-fire BBQ station
About $40–$75 per person
A caterer cooks or carves at the event on their own grill or station. Whether a venue allows open flame is between you, the venue and that caterer.
Often used for: Backyard parties, outdoor weddings, festivals
Ranges are in Canadian dollars, before tax, and describe what hosts often see. They are not a quote from Toronto BBQ Catering. A small guest count, a downtown delivery, a premium menu or a Saturday in June can sit outside these bands. Only the caterer's quote is the price.

Questions about prices and menus
Are you a caterer?
No. Toronto BBQ Catering does not cook, and we do not have a kitchen, smokers or serving staff. We are a free matching service. You tell us about the event, we introduce you by email to an independent local caterer who fits, and that caterer quotes, cooks and serves.
How much does catering cost in Toronto and the GTA?
We do not set prices. As a planning guide, drop-off buffets are often about $18 to $35 per person, full-service catering about $35 to $90, and a live-fire BBQ station about $40 to $75. The only price that counts is the quote from the caterer we match you with. It depends on the menu, headcount, date and how much service you want.
Who cooks, serves and cleans up?
The caterer does. Ask them what is included: drop-off only, staffed service, a live station, rentals, or cleanup of their setup. We do not cook on site and we do not leave a venue, because we are not there as the caterer.
Tell us the menu you want matched
Tell us what the event needs. We share those details with a matched caterer and introduce you on a shared email thread. The caterer sends the quote.
